Yasar University is an English-medium university located in the heart of the city of Izmir on the Mediterranean coastline. The University offers over 60 undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, all with European transferable credits, and available in the following Faculties: Communication, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, Science and Letters, Art and Design, and Law. Postgraduate programmes are offered at the Graduate Institutes, as well as at the Graduate Research Centre.
Supplementary Turkish classes, as well as a full range of second language options and elective courses, are offered to all international students. An English preparatory year is also available for those students wishing to reach the level of English language required for study in their chosen Faculty.

An annual scholarship of 1500 USD is offered to all new full time international undergraduate students upon their registration to Faculty at the university. The continuation of this scholarship in each following academic year is dependent on the student achieving a minimum GPA score of 2.50.

Life on Campus
The University’s modern campus is purpose-built and accessible to students 24-hours a day. It offers extensive IT, library and sports facilities, as well as a high-tech Media Centre and Cambridge exams centre. The modern halls of residence are located within a few minutes walk of the campus. The University also offers a full range of student clubs and local social responsibility projects. Monthly concerts, including those of the University’s own Chamber Orchestra, as well as academic conferences and exhibitions, are a regular feature of campus life.
